Sara Martin

Yoga Teacher

I’ve always been driven to help people and I truly believe that sharing yoga is the best way I can do that. I approach each class with the question: what can I offer them today that might make their day a little brighter? Each time I hit my own mat, it’s my time. As a wife and mom, I don’t get a lot of that. I get to take what I need from each practice; and that's exactly what I encourage my students to do in their practice. The yoga path is a journey without a destination, there is always room for growth. I also love to hike, snowshoe and work in my garden, all things that reconnect me with the earth.

Emma Broadhurst

Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner

I arrive at Haven and the profession of therapeutic bodywork with compassion and reverence for the stories we hold in our bodies. I believe that a state of vibrant health is best supported with attention to all layers of ourselves—the physical, emotional, and spiritual. I have spent the past decade immersed in the healing arts, holding a degree in psychology, 4 years of clinical herbal studies, and a certification in reiki and nutrition. My massage style reflects a holistic perspective, as I integrate a variety of techniques. I am guided by my listening to your body’s response, all while focusing on your current needs and long term goals. Each treatment is individually tailored, shaped by an intentional & intuitive approach. My hope is that you leave our time together feeling more spacious, grounded, and relaxed.

Christina Davidson
Yoga Teacher

Christina found and fell in love with yoga in 2017. As a mom of 3 young children, Christina needed an outlet, a place to slow down and connect to herself, and she found just that on the yoga mat. She has always loved dance and fitness, and practiced ballet and pointe into her teenage years.  Christina completed her 200hr yoga teacher training at Hot Power Yoga Center in Worcester in 2021, and has been teaching and sharing the gift of yoga ever since. Christina grew up in western Mass and now resides in Sturbridge. She is very excited and honored to share the yoga practice with our community!

Jenna Richardson
Yoga Teacher

Jenna Richardson’s yoga journey started around 2009 when she was first introduced by some friends. Quickly the benefits of the practice were shown from the physical, and the mental but more importantly the emotional. Creating a space to explore and be truly present.

From there Jenna decided this was something that she loved and wanted to share.

Certified by Lotus Gardens in CT, Jenna was exposed to all forms of practice from Vinyasa, Hatha and Kundalini and more.

Jenna traveled to Boulder, CO in 2012 to be trained for Arial Yoga where Jenna finds the support of the hammock to deepen the practice and add an additional level of fun to the practice.

From 2011 to 2014 Jenna owned and operated Present Roots Yoga Studio in Sturbridge.

Jenna's style is open to all levels; however, she brings an energetic style where she strives to challenge her students. She believes exploring movement, encouraging the connection of breath and movement and always intention.

When off the mat Jenna lives a true Pisces life, working in sales as the balance to her airy spirt. She enjoys spending time in nature, exploring with her family and soaking up the sweet moments of being a mom.

Kim Daniels
Yoga Teacher

Kimberly is a double certified E-RYT 500, and carries these certifications in various styles such as: Vinyasa, Anusara, Viniyoga, Pre /Post Natal and Children's Yoga. She spent a long while in California where she trained and traveled internationally with her mentors and teachers in both Asana, and Philosophy studies while offering public, corporate and private classes. She was fortunate to be part of the donation yoga movement that began in Encinitas, CA offering yoga to the community on a sliding scale. This encouraged community of heart, and the ability for all people to access yoga which she finds to have been one of her greatest teachers. Her classes focus on alignment, breath, and attitude. With over 20 years experience, Kimberly's classes are potent and lighthearted encouraging strength of body, mind and spirit.

Jenn Blais
Massage Therapist

My name is Jennifer but most call me Jenn. I became a massage therapist because I always knew I wanted to help people in the most impactful way. I tried the mental health field and after 5 years I decided I didn’t want to just help people with their mental health and that brain connection. I wanted to be able to connect the mind and the body in a more holistic way for others for to achieve their ultimate vitality. The connection between the energetic system, to the emotional system, to the spiritual part of ourselves, to the physical systems we feel every day. I went to school for holistic massage therapy, where I learned many modalities starting from Swedish massage, to deep tissue, postural analysis, myofascial techniques, trigger point, prenatal massage, and polarity which is a form of energy work based off of Chinese medicine and meridians. As I mentioned earlier before getting into massage, I finished my BA at Westfield State University with a psychology degree and started a career in the crisis field helping in the best way I knew how. In the back of my head, I always dreamed and kept going back to the thought of being a massage therapist. Then finally one day after years of dreaming I made it a reality. I went to Spa Tech Institute for the holistic program in 2018. I now hold certifications for a Bachelors in psych with a focus in counseling, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), and Polarity Practitioner, I am also working towards a certificate in sound healing. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and I hope to see you soon for a relaxing or therapeutic massage or even some energy work!! Take a chance and make a change to better yourself!!

Tylar Bowie-Edge

Massage Thereapist

My name is Tylar Bowie-Edge and I was born and raised in Springfield, Ma. I moved to Providence, RI in 2012 where I began attending Johnson & Wales with hopes of becoming the next Rachel Ray. When that didn’t work, I looked for other activities I enjoyed that made me feel happy. This lead to the discovery of massage therapy. After much research, I fell in love with the physical and physiological benefits that come with giving and receiving massage on others. I decided to enroll in the program at Lincoln Technical Institute in Lincoln, RI, but soon after starting, I lost my grandfather, mother and best friend just a few months apart. Though I was distraught, i knew how much they wanted to see me succeed  and I had to finish the program despite the many obstacles. After a long year and two months of switching schedules and taking much need mental health leave of absences, I was able to finish the program in April of 2023. And thanks to an accidental automated indeed appointment setter, I finagled my way into meeting Rebekah, the owner of Haven Spa, where I was immediately captivated by the energy. I knew I was in the right place at the right time and I am beyond excited to join the team. I cant wait to see where this new journey takes me.
